2025-05-10 03:26:23 +0000 UTCHey man if you are into crazy heists like that, there was a guy in ireland known as the general, he pulled off some of the craziest stunts probably ever, one notable one is he was buying a house with dirty money but he needed a bank draft, so he rocked up to a bank with 80k in cash and got a bank draft, then put it in his pocket and walked across the street into the police station and requested to talk to a certain detective, while he was talking to him his men entered the bank and stole back the 80k, they knew it was him but he had a rock solid alibi, it got to the point when he showed up at a station they knew something big was happening, he also used to go to court in joke glasses with a rubber nose and mustache, there is a 1998 movie called the general with Brendan gleeson and Jon voight, but everything in that movie he really did and ten times more, I read the book also called the general written by paul Williams it's hard to believe but it's all fact I'm telling you man you have never heard of anything like this

Just driving Audi's into a high end mall and grabbing what you can , in Paris they would disperse on bikes then into the city. I would love to hear your take of some crazy jewel stuff!! There was a great podcast, just titled "Heist Podcast" where these two buddy's get into some really cool obscure ones. Worth a listen
