Behind The Laughter-Finding Models

Another common question is: What is the process that goes into recruiting models?

Let me start off by saying I was really lucky to find the models I worked with. Had those first models been a disaster, LiB Productions would have shut down pretty soon after starting.

That being said, my experience from long ago is different than if I was getting started in the business today.

Craigslist:

When I first started, Craigslist was used. I would post on the gigs section. Not just in my city but cities I wouldn't mind visiting. Different parts of the country would yield different results.

I didn't want the post to come off as creepy. So, I kept it simple by focusing on three things that get many young females attention: money, laughter, and a fun experience.

The response from those early Craigslist ads were incredible. Keep in mind, I had no website or video samples. My inbox was flooded with young beautiful women, mostly 18-23, who described themselves as being very ticklish.

There was no way I had the money to film all of these ladies. Also, I wanted to do one shoot to see how it went before committing to others. So, I did a series of interviews and narrowed it down to 18 year old Layla. She had it all: the beauty, a fun personality, and was very ticklish. Layla had such a fun vibe that led to an awkward free shoot. When I released her first trailer on TMF, so many responded positively to her. I was shocked at how much money I made for tickling a hot and ticklish girl.  Addie, Kylie, and Ashton soon followed. The rest is history.

Modeling Sites:

Of course, it wasn't always that easy.  Eventually, Craigslists would quickly remove gig posts like mine soon after they were posted. I joined modeling websites and would post casting calls. I did not get the response I received from Craigslists. Few responded because most of those girls were there to be famous models and wanted to work with photographers that had impressive portfolios.

However, I did get some that were looking for a fun/unique experience while making some cash.  Models like Jessica, Sarah, Chassy, and Wesley.

Referrals:

Word of mouth is a powerful thing in this industry.  If you come off creepy, or create a fun experience, other models will know about it. Referrals led to some great shoots like Erin, Mia and Remey, as well Jessica and Rabecca.

Your Fans:

Since most of your audience is going to be male, this is going to be a challenge. However, it is possible to have a fan want to work with you. I've had quite a few  female fans wanting to do a shoot. To be honest, they didn't have the look and I knew I wouldn't get a good rate of return. However, there was one exception. Katina really had a thing for being tickled and enjoyed my videos on YouTube. She was wanting the experience and contacted me. So, while rare, it is possible to recruit models from your fan base.

Today's Reality:

As the years progressed, it became more difficult to find models that are not doing work for other tickling companies. Usually, these models are older with an over saturation of fetish material and demand a high fee.  From my own experience, I found a better rate of return when I featured a young model no one knew vs ones that were experienced in the industry.

I was lucky to find many models early on, who went on to work for other content creators. Models like Lucy, Kat, Erin, Mia, Remey, Jessica, and Addie were not well known in the tickle world when they did an LiB shoot.

Unlike when I started, I have found it very challenging to find fresh faces in the 18-23 range. As I stated, most of the models who apply today are older and already have plenty of content out there. Many have sites like OnlyFans.  Other models that apply just don't fit the girl next door type.

Advice To Someone Who Is Interested In Recruiting Models

I admit, I got lucky with my early success. The models I worked with were mostly new faces, a lot of fun to work with, and fans responded positively to them.

If you are interested in creating tickling content, don't expect the same success. Each person's journey is going to be different.

Most of the models I worked with were wanting to be discreet. However, many of today's experienced fetish models are looking to grow their social media presence and have accounts for fans to follow. If you message them for a gig opportunity, they can check out your social media profile to see if they are willing to work for you. Also, many of them have their own sites that you can use to contact them.
