You transform into a pegasus and use the feathery wings to glide your way to the riverbank, where there is a small wooden box and a cave. While you glide, you wonder if there is any race of pony that lives in the water or not. You can’t transform into a creature that you have never seen before, the only thing you can transform into at the moment is a Pegasus, Unicorn or Earth Pony that your teacher had transformed into to teach you, as well as the Buffalo that you saw with Braeburn. Now you have landed on the ground below the canyon. What will you do?

Excellent use of your transformation lessons, Young Queen! You even managed to conceal your saddle packs during the transformation to pegasus form. Now that you've made it to that small bank, you have someplace that might be a good lair for the night. Of course, the chest suggests that the cave already has an occupant, so it would be polite to call out and ask if anyone is home before doing too much snooping around. If you don't get an answer, then you can check the chest for any clues about the owner. Be careful, though, that chest looks like it has leaves or roots trailing out.
