May Dormitory Diary Entry - Kimura

I've been working as an assistant key animator for a little while now. As I interact with more production teams now that Iโm doing key animation rather than in-between animation, I'm becoming increasingly more conscious that more people are seeing my drawings. It's both gratifying and daunting to hear their feedback. One time, I received praise for โdetailed work,โ which made me very happy. I try to work without cutting corners and am happy to continue doing so.
This month, I managed to complete 14 cuts of assistant key animation and 20 frames of in-between animation. It seems that payments for assistant key animation are calculated by the cut rather than by the number of frames. I'm curious about how much others in my role will be able to produce next month.
Next month, my goal is to work on 20 cuts!
P.S. The first time I was credited as an assistant key animation was for Gundam๐.
