PURE Config Main Settings Guide Update

As I have had a couple of comments that there is a lot to set up to achieve fantastic results and it can be tricky, I thought it would be worth sharing an updated guide on what I've learnt so far. Today, I'm covering PURE Config. I have updated my settings themselves in a post lower down, but it does not explain what all the settings do, although most self-explanatory.

When you open PURE Config, the first menu to pay attention to and most importantly is the lighting.

Sun Light Level: Adjust the level of the sun brightness and colours. For me, I run 0.800 for saturation to reduce sun vibrance, 0.400 light in most cases running the same, brighter tracks you can tweak this

Ambient Lighting: Broken down into different stages, I prefer to run the V2 Ambient lighting ticked.
For distant lighting and directional, this can depend on the track, but generally, 0.500 saturation on all settings is the most balanced for me. Note: Ambient lighting can add tones of blue or brown to overall lighting, so it depends on which colours you would like. 0.500 saturation is best for me.
Ambient lighting level I run 0.700 to 1.000. This seems to depend on which tracks I am using and what the standard lighting is like

Reflections/Cloud Level
Although reflections are in the lighting menu and clouds are in the clouds menu, it's an important note that when cloud brightness changes, so do the car reflections. On most PP filters, I run 0.800 for reflections and 0.500-0.800 for cloud brightness. Cloud contrast is kept default unless I am making classic content where contrast is increased.

CSP Lighting
CSP bounce is the overall impact the lighting has, for example, street lights at Singapore or the Monaco tunnel. Dal this to your choosing. For me, 0.400 is suitable as I use bright tracks like Jeddah and Abu Dhabi

CSP Displays setting changes the brightness of in car displays, personal preference on this

PP Adjustments
In this menu, you can adjust Contrast (Black and White), Saturation (Colours Strength), Colour temperature (balance), and Brightness. I generally leave these settings standard as I adjust these with my Reshade Presets, but you can do this with PURE Config instead.

Weather Options
An extra note, you can also decrease rainhaze/fog in PURE Config, I generally turn this setting down. It can be found in the Shaders tab

Extra Effects
Some Post Processing Filters such as C13 AEGIS or ILP may include extra menus for adjustments of glare and colour temperature options. These are generally specific to that PP filter and can be customised to your liking.
