FiOP Bonus Chapter 02
Added 2025-05-20 18:36:41 +0000 UTCA man lay on a comfortable bed as his feet hung off the edge. The room screamed of wealth and opulence. Several completely naked or scantily clad women lay on that same bed, asleep. The moment he was up and moving, so were his servants. While fully naked, one plucked grapes off a vine and fed him while the other, wearing a secretary outfit, started to list off events that happened while the man was having sex or sleeping.
“You’re rival to the north has taken to the sea. He left Caesa port and was last seen heading north along the coast. One of the women you were looking to bed went into a dungeon and hasn’t been heard from since. Another headed south in pursuit of leveling her class. Another was slain in a tavern brawl, we've already killed the culprit. We have one more bit of information: your second brother was reported finalizing his deal with the trade union. It will make you’re position even more precarious.”
The man knew that, while he looked young, he was already hundreds of years old. His class of harem master had been leveled from uncommon all the way up to epic, making him one of the strongest people in the country. But his two older brothers were both in a similar, if more advantageous position, as their classes were more focused on leading a country, while his was focused on having intimacy with as many women as he could get his hands on.
He cut her off as he asked. “Mmm, these grapes are more delectable than normal. Has my father finally decided to spread the farmers' skills into higher quality over quantity?” The secretary didn’t miss a beat as she thought that might have been asked. “No, it seems that someone forwent protection from the royal soldiers and set out to grow crops on the border of the country. Those spice bundles we’ve purchased and plan on reverse engineering have also come from that farmer.”
The apathetic look of the man faded as his eyes widened imperceptibly. “Really… And I assume since you didn’t mention it that the farmer is a male, then?” “Unfortunately, he is, yes.” The prince’s class might have made it seem like he wasn’t smart, but after upgrading it multiple times, even a class that had no focus on intellect was smarter than the average person.
His mind started placing things together as he asked. “It doesn’t make sense to kill him, and since he went against the norm that most farmers do, he’ll be harder to control… We already have several female farmers going for the higher-quality crops. Leave him for now, competition breeds innovation after all. We wouldn’t be raising those farmers if he didn’t show us how profitable it could be.”
“We have another bit of.-” The prince cut off his secretary. “Enough, we’re done for now. If it’s truly important, you’d have started with it. Come here, you know what your job really is. You might be a secretary, but the reason my father hired you is to be my cute little bedwarmer.”
The man playfully bit at the fingers of the naked woman who was serving him grapes as he grabbed at his secretary. Interrupting the information she was trying to tell him by sealing her lips with his own. Hands started to rip her clothes off; it wasn’t the first time this happened, as she made no indication that it affected her anymore.
When he first started, she refused, but over time, he wore her down. His class was at play as both women immediately got wet, but the prince was also just more charismatic than most. Dragging both of them onto his bed, the third prince of the kingdom may have inadvertently made a massive mistake by interrupting his secretary before she could explain that one of his future harem members, the sexy little cowgirl he had kept an eye on, had been stolen by that farmer.
…
To the south of the kingdom, in the midst of a dungeon. A dragon larger than a building landed after soaring through the sky for several hours. She was hurt, fighting with a rival female dragon, and she needed to hide until she recovered. Changing her form into a more humanoid one, she prepared the land as she created a makeshift lair.
Land shifted under her feet as a cave entrance opened up and began to form a spiral staircase down. As the woman walked down them, more steps were made for her to step down. Spiralling into the ground, the dragon began to expand, creating a layer for herself as she bled more draconic blood than her smaller body could handle.
It was risky, but the reverse was to keep running and hope her rival didn’t chase, which she knew she would. They had been fighting over the mana source for decades now, and her rival finally got the heads up in their battle. It would take months, if not years, to recover from the injuries that were dealt to her. The blood slowly dissolved and disappeared, as the dungeon greedily absorbed the mana-rich liquid.
With a wave of her hand, as one of her storage rings activated, a pile of gold appeared in the corner of her room. It wasn’t her true hoard, but her draconic class gained stats, including regeneration, while near gold. She felt the dungeon begin to pull on it, trying to absorb it as she grew irritated and spread her aura, severing the dungeon's connection with that part of the land.
She pulled out several large pots filled with different kinds of potions as she began to slowly heal herself. Little did she know the rippling effect that having her blood taken would cause to the nearby villages along the border. The dungeon began to mutate as it wasn’t sure whether or not to count the dragon in its calculations. It had enough blood, but not access to the actual dragon; the dragon existed, but was actively fighting the dungeon connecting with her.
If the dungeon had been taken care of, had other humanoids visited it in the past few decades, it might have been able to figure out what was happening, but it couldn’t. The dungeon read the dragon as both a true and false monster inside itself, which began to corrupt it; the longer the dragon remained, the more berserk the dungeon would become.
The dragon didn’t know, even if she did, she wouldn’t care. As long as she could remain hidden for a few years to recover, then nothing else would matter to her. Tired, she had flown injured for dozens of hours, and the fight took place over a continent away. She lay down to rest, possibly for months, as she took on her dragon form again after expanding her lair to a size she could fit. Slowly curling up on her coins like a cat, she rested.
The last thing she thought about was her food, she would need to procure a good food source nearby that she could make an entrance toward. It wouldn’t be the first time a dragon thought they got away, only to drop their guard and get murdered the next moment because their enemy never stopped looking for them.
