SS: Young Roshi: Chapter 9-10

Bulma looked at the items I brought to her from the Saiyan. His armor, his scouter, and his spaceship. I was hoping she could reverse engineer some of the inventions and make similar equipment from them. “Well, besides that. How did your experiments for making the gravity-increasing belt go?”

It had been something I had asked her years ago if it was possible, and, unfortunately, it really wasn’t with our current technology. “It’s unfortunate, but I could only make the belt increase gravity by a ton. You’ll still have to use a gravity chamber to get anywhere near the amount of increase on your body until I perfect it. You can use the two in tandem, though.”

That was good to know. “Well, thanks, and I’m sorry about you and Yamcha. Sometimes things just aren’t meant to work out, and you should be happy you found out now instead of after you brought kids into the situation. Oh, I’m going to want royalties on whatever inventions you make from the things I brought you. I got a family to raise now, so got to think of them.”

Raditz’s Point of View

I woke up suddenly as I panicked from the attack I had just suffered. I felt around myself for injuries and… Are those breasts on my frame? “What in the-.” Why is my voice so feminine? My eyebrows rose as I felt between my legs… It was gone!

At that moment, my mother entered with a tray of food, and our eyes met as I had both my hands between my legs. “It’s… Not what it looks like.” Then I remembered what happened. “Mother, what the hell is happening? First, I found out you’re alive, then I woke up a woman. What is going on?”

She gave me a soft smile as she explained that it was either turn me into a woman, which would lower my power level slightly and I’d have to learn how to fight in this body again, or be permanently crippled so that I wouldn’t cause problems for the planet. Truth be told, I was kind of glad they went with the less painful option, but out of everything, why turn me into a woman?

I was stuck like this. The moment I learned there was no way to turn back, I began to accept that I was now a woman. Unless I found a way to change back into a man, I would just have to deal with being a woman. I felt an instinctive breath of air leave me as an unknown knot of tension, of worry about staying strong enough to not die, begin to unravel.

I felt the restrictions put on me loosen as they fell off. I didn’t have to be a strong warrior anymore; I could just take my time to enjoy myself now that I wasn’t part of the Frieza force… I also wanted to test out this new body. I don’t know why, but ever since I woke up, I’ve just really wanted to stare at myself naked in the mirror.

Raditz told us that there was a high possibility that two other Saiyans were making their way here to kill us and take over the planet, and that they were far stronger than he was. Nappa had a power level of 4,000, while their leader, Vegeta, had a power level of 18,000. It meant, unless I grew my strength to double what it currently was, we stood no chance.

That wasn’t even taking in the fact that if they attacked during the full moon, they would be ten times stronger in their monkey form… And Raditz told us that Vegeta could make an artificial moon, which meant I would need to be that much stronger in order to stand a chance against him. All of us would need to become much stronger in a very short time.

I figured, if I was this strong because of the thirty times gravity training I went under at King Kai’s I would be three times stronger if I could train under ninety times Earth’s gravity, so that was my goal to get to while everyone else should attempt to get to thirty times gravity before they arrived. Getting the fighters back together to train felt nostalgic; it would be the first time I would teach Tien and Chiaotzu.

And we all began to train while Bulma worked on improving the gravity chamber. We began to train on the lookout as I asked if Kami could alter the rules of the hyperbolic time chamber. If he couldn’t, I still thought going inside before the Saiyans arrived was worth it. If he could shorten or lengthen the time, possibly allow more people to enter, or make the interior more comfortable, without the two lifetime entrances, that would help us tremendously.

Teaching them all the Kaio Ken was also on the menu, while I decided to keep the spirit bomb to myself. There was no reason for them to waste time on learning a move that could cause irreparable damage to a planet's life force if it was used too regularly.

The double power level boost seemed like a cheat code, and King Kai said that it can go even higher, but you’d risk causing permanent harm to your body if you did so… But… I could heal, and we had the sensu beans, plus doing so made most people stronger… Growing accustomed to using Kaio Ken times three, possibly four, might be the only reason we’d win the fight, and it was another goal I needed to accomplish before they arrived.

Just like that, a year passed, and they arrived as we made our way over to greet them. I was worried, but there was nothing else we could do to prepare for them. I could possibly ask for another wish to improve my own power, but it felt… Weak… And wrong to rely on a wish to gain power. It felt like a slippery slope, even asking for martial arts techniques or knowledge felt wrong to me as it went against everything I believed about the martial path.

I kissed my wives. Blue Launch gave me a chaste kiss, while Mai grabbed my butt as she forced her tongue down my throat. Violet was more formal, but also snuck in a cheeky action as she grabbed my hands and placed them on her chest. Gine was possibly the most normal housewife kiss, like I wasn’t going to my possible death, and Savoy was very similar to Gine’s, except I had to be extra careful, as she was very far along in her pregnancy. Most of my wives were in different states of pregnancy, to be fair. I’m about to leave before blonde Launch jumps back in the line, and as I kiss her, she bites down on my lip.

Our family shouldn’t function. One man and multiple wives should fail from the infighting, but there were no signs that it would. Launch smirked as she spoke. “Go save our planet. When you come back, we’ll give you a reward.”

Chapter 10

We stared at each other, two against seven. Me, Goku, Piccolo, Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, and Chiaotzu. The suits we wore were the new battle armor Bulma had created, making matching sets for me and my students and specialized sets for Piccolo, Tien, and Chiaotzu. Although I trained with them, they didn’t view me as a sensei.

I heard their scouters go off as I activated the one Bulma had made for me. I knew their power levels from Raditz, but they had both gotten slightly stronger as the readings were higher at 4178 and 18421. That amount wasn’t much, but when you could increase your power level tenfold, that small amount would quickly add up. The best bet was to lull them into thinking we were much weaker than we currently were; that was the plan.

The giant bald man smirked as he said. “None of them even reach our power level. This is going to be easy.” He got into a fighting stance before saying. “All of you, come at me at the same time, otherwise this is going to take too long.” The shorter Saiyan with his arms crossed cut him off. “Hold on, Nappa, don’t you remember the readings we got from Raditz’s scouter? One of them can hide their strength and make themselves reach elite levels of strength.”

Damn, if I knew that the scouters recorded noise, I wouldn’t have let Raditz speak before knocking him out. He smirked again, before saying. “Fine, we’ll play this slow. The rest don’t look very strong, so the real threat here will have to show himself if we bring out the Saibamen to fight them.” The big man poked holes in the ground as he dropped seeds. Slowly, green men grew out of the ground. They looked absolutely disgusting.

I could sense energy, but the scouter gave a more accurate rating as they were all around 1200. That might have been a problem a year ago… But-. They all moved in tandem, each picking a target as they began their own personal fights with the six while I just sat back and waited. Each fight was over in seconds as the Saibamen were easily slain; no one was squeamish about killing the freshly grown lifeforms.

The smirk was instantly wiped off Nappa’s face as he asked Vegeta. “Hey… What did your scouter say about their power levels?” “All of them registered above two thousand. Which is a problem for you… Do you still want to fight them all by yourself?” Vegeta now smirked at his own subordinate. “How about we fight one at a time, if they try to team up on me, you step in?”

He scoffed before waving his hand. “Fine, I’ll watch your fight, but if you lose a one-on-one, I’ll let you die.” That didn’t make sense to me. Weren’t the Saiyans on the verge of extinction? A male Saiyan, even a weak one, could do a lot in restoring their race if he had multiple wives like me. Why would one of the only few men let another die like that? It didn’t make any sense unless the man was evil.

I watched as Yamcha chose to go first. The fight is closer than you’d think. Yamcha had managed to get to thirty times gravity; he was still weaker, but through using Kaio Ken at the right time, he was staying ahead of him and getting out of bad situations that would have resulted in his death, but it was an uphill battle for him, which ended with him being hit with an unlucky attack. The single attack almost killed him, but Tien stepped in to stop it.

Vegeta didn’t see Tien stepping in as an interruption, because he let the attack connect with Nappa before he could finish off Yamcha. Besides Chiaotzu, Yamcha was the weakest, followed by him and Krillin, and it was a toss-up between the two. Tien could beat Krillin most of the time, but it was close, and Krillin could take victories from him. It was about a seventy/thirty split, but the difference between Yamcha and Tien was big enough for the entire situation to flip with Nappa on the back foot.

It even shocked Vegeta as I kept an eye on him, if he jumped in to stop it, I would jump in to stop him. Slowly, he was whittled down; the injuries Tien inflicted weren’t serious, but he overwhelmed Nappa through the sheer number of them. Vegeta didn’t step in, though, as Tien beat him to the point he was weak and on the ground. Tien charged a ball before stopping it and putting his hand down.

I barely registered Vegeta’s attack as it was so fast; if he attacked Tien, I’d have been able to deflect the blow or intercept him, but he didn’t. He attacked his partner. Blowing him up himself. I couldn’t help but ask. “Why did you do that? He was your ally!” He crossed his hands as he spoke. “He was weak.” I was angry with him. Two of my wives were Saiyans, and they both wanted to revive the Saiyan race, and because I loved them, their goal was mine as well.

“Go ahead, Goku, it’s your turn.” I stepped back as Goku stepped forward. The two were more dramatically different in power than Yamcha and Nappa, but I had no doubt Goku could beat Vegeta if he used Kaio Ken perfectly. Vegeta laughed as Goku powered up. The scouter was going nuts as it kept climbing. “4000… 6000… 8000… 10! Boom Over ten thousand!”

As his scouter blew up, I looked at Nappa’s corpse and saw his scouter was still intact before I destroyed it. I didn’t want whoever they served to find out any more information on us. The two of them fought fairly evenly, but just as I expected, Goku used Kaio Ken at the right time and left Vegeta just as injured as himself. Vegeta stared at him with fury on his face as he exclaimed. “How… How is this possible? You’re nothing but a low-class warrior!”

I cleared my throat. “Power level determines rank, so he’s technically an elite now.” That only pissed him off even more. “I will not allow a low-class warrior to defeat me!” He began to channel a ball that acted as a moon, and as he stared up at it, he began to change. I couldn’t believe he’d do this without protecting himself. Did he assume that any damage we dealt wouldn’t matter because he was growing in power so rapidly?

I didn’t give him a chance as I rushed over and cut off his tail. Vegeta had become his great ape form for approximately one and a half seconds before he started to change back into his human form. He looked shocked as he struck down and finally looked at me. “Who attacks his enemy while he’s powering up? Do you have no pride as a warrior?”

“Well, if you left your friend alive, he might have been able to stop me, but because you’re by yourself, do you think I won’t step in? Just be less weak!” I let Goku weaken him as they both went down at the same time, completely defeated. Vegeta crawled toward his Saiyan pod before I interrupted by stepping in his way. Goku yelled out. “Don’t kill him!”

I chuckled. “Why not? He’s weak, in his own words, the weak should be killed.” Goku chuckled before coughing up blood as he spoke. “Don’t… Don’t kill him. Let him go. Show him… What it means… To be merciful.” I laughed again. “Who said anything about me killing him? I got a far worse punishment for a proud Saiyan warrior to go through.” Chuckling as I began charging my attack, his body was struck, and as it began to change. As it did so, I tossed him into his Saiyan pod before sending it off our planet.
