A Prideful Poppy
This June is already looking a bit busy. Visiting grandparents for two weekends in a row. My first tattoo which is bound to leave me in discomfort. And a family trip to hang out spread my grandmother's ashes before the parentals leave the country. Yeah, this month is gonna be a rough one to get through......
However! There are other things! For one thing June 10th is the day I turn a quarter of a century. There may have been a lot of talk from me lately online and offline of the fact that I am not feeling all that enthusiastic for my own birthday. Yet I still cannot deny the milestone I am about to hit.
And not only that! But June is also Pride Month!
Some people may not know but I am actually asexual, but even if I wasn't I am a huge supporter of the LGBT+ community (I know there are plenty other acronyms and letters but let's just go with the simple yet still very inclusive one everybody knows!). Backseat Drawing, my Discord art server, for the entirety of June invites people to draw characters or OCs in pride colors to be submitted to a massive canvas where everyone's submissions are gathered together in a huge pride piece!
While I've drawn my otter OC before, I do declare that this is the official debut of my online representative, Poppy the Otter. And to debut her in pride colors is freaking awesome!
