A New Series Reaction....

I actually do love plenty of animated shows. Whether it's shonen, Western animation with anime inspiration, or just wacky varieties of American kids shows, I consider myself to be a big fan of the animation genre on general. Whether more adult in nature or for somewhat younger audiences, I find that the animation genre never ceases to amaze me from time to time.

Some shows have been, watch them once, and I'm fine. Some, never stood out or even just looked really dumb (sometimes for the right reasons). But there are plenty of great gems in Western animation that I've absolutely fallen in love with.

The Tales of Arcadia trilogy. Voltron: Legendary Defender. Avatar The Last Airbender. South Park. Danny Phantom. Gravity Falls. Young Justice. Invader Zim. Over the Garden Wall. American Dragon: Jake Long. Steven Universe. Rick and Morty. Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts. RWBY.

Am I admitting to loving every single one of these shows, many of which I may have even watched recently? Yes; of course I am. Much as I love various anime, I've found Western animation to be even more diverse in terms of characters, representation, story, and particularly animation & artstyle.

So when I heard a storyboard artist for Gravity Falls and director of the DuckTales reboot was the mastermind behind a Disney show called The Owl House, I was a slight bit intrigued. I really only saw a tiny amount of clips or images from the show and immediately noticed the art style, something I often look at or critique when watching TV or movies. And to know there was a story instead of something more episodic intrigued me also, since those kinds of shows often turn me off.......

And now here I am reacting to the show now, and providing all you patrons with the first look at my reactions to what looks to be an amazing show!

I will also mention that I will not be providing reviews for this, just reactions and possibly slightly longer commentary. But I'm sure people will enjoy it nonetheless. The releases for these episodes will also not be regular on account of my already diverse content and weekly South Park content. But I'm sure everyone's willing to be patient, especially since there are only 2 seasons out right now!
