When I was first watching the VanossCrew back in 2019, some of the first videos I watched were of the Irish YouTuber we all know and love not making any sense whatsoever, videos put together by YourFavoriteCompiler. Their videos were anywhere from 10-15 minutes each, with the most recent video being from August of 2018.
In my most recent poll on my YouTube channel regarding compilations (which I know wasn't even very recent compared to now), people seemed very enthusiastic about me putting together a compilation related to Nogla and his "ability" to misspeak and speak nothing but gibberish. It's easier said than done, though, just finding the material I need. There are hundreds of videos I still have to look through because I want this to be a seriously awesome compilation.
Compilations can be a little tricky to put together. Despite knowing exactly what I'm looking for, I will still spend hours upon hours listening to and skimming through various videos of various YouTubers to get specific clips, some of which I have known about for a while and others that I've never even seen. Most compilations involving Nogla are from other people's perspectives and don't exactly have the links to the videos, meaning I really have to listen to all of Nogla's videos from scratch.
Still, it can be very fun seeing things from Nogla's perspective that I had not yet seen, and to watch some of his early material that wasn't familiar to me. Of course it takes up a lot of time and there are still looooots of videos to go through....I'm moving along slowly but surely!
This so far is just a list of clips I have identified; I want to listen to a lot of them again to make sure I really want to grab what I initially considered. Most of what I've found can be located in Nogla's own videos, but there are plenty of moments (notably in some of Wildcat and Vanoss' videos) that are simply not found in his videos no matter how hard I looked. And I'm still not done. There are still loads of videos to go through to and at this point I have decided I may have to break it up into 3 compilations minimum.
All that said I've made considerable progress, and am here to show you that I am still hard at work from time to time looking for clips ! The clip grabs and edits of my own are still to come, but actually locating material first is the biggest time-consumer without a doubt. But I am much closer now, and will hopefully be looking to grab some clips soon for the first of what might become many compilations!
Want to know more about my progress on these compilations, as well as what other videos and art pieces I'm working on?? Check out my project board on Trello now to see the specifics! (NOTE: I'm unable to add activity notes at the moment (trying to figure that out) but have been updating project cards otherwise!)
