What Even Is A ManBearPig??
Added 2021-12-28 15:01:03 +0000 UTCSouth Park can came up with some weird stuff, but the ManBearPig plot with Al Gore from Episode 6 just completely baffles me. It seems whenever there is something to make fun of in the world, Stone and Parker just decide, "Hey, what about this nonsensical idea?" and just work with it. That's how the Towelie-Oprah and Crab People episodes felt also.
There has to be more to this than meets the eye........gah, curse me and my lack of knowledge on all the people and controversies and odd situations that have occurred over the years! At least I knew [kinda] who Al Gore was, but otherwise.....yeah, no, I'm pretty clueless! Still entertaining in it's own way however, despite everything else I just said.

2021-12-28 17:14:44 +0000 UTCI honestly love this episode. Stan is honestly way too nice. The fact that he’d take pity on Al Gore and indulge on his weird fantasies just speaks volumes to him as a character. The ending in which Stan reached his limit and called Al Gore out on his bullshit for nearly killing him and his friends was such a great moment. The boys (really just Cartman) do not deserve him as a friend.

2021-12-28 16:46:31 +0000 UTCTrey and Parker didn't fully believe Global Warming back then. This was them mocking how weird AL Gore was with the topic.
