Awakening Book 2 To Be Underway

About a month-and-a-half ago I finalized and published Awakening on writing platform Wattpad, and shared the story with many of my other social media profiles. I made the story publicly visible and while I haven't gotten a lot of feedback on it so far I have confidence it will pick up eventually.

My writing means a lot to me, even more than YouTube ever did. YouTube has been a fun (sometimes stressful) side gig for a few years. I've been drawing and comic-making for over 9 years. But I have been creating stories, worlds, and characters for almost two decades, well over half my life. Yet I spend the least amount of time on my writing projects. I want to change that.

Recently I have been working on the outlining for Book 2 of the Awakening trilogy, but things may be a little different. I have so many trilogies and series mapped out relatively well, and I have an idea to make the first installments freely and publicly available, but will find ways of selling sequel installments. If I want to make it as a part-time writer, I cannot always have my works freely available to the public, even if I might want them to be.

However I have every intention of sharing some sneak peeks and details with patrons time and again, perhaps even offer discounts on books should they garner more attention in the future! Even if they don't I see no reason why I can't give you guys some special privileges for all my creative works, whether it be YouTube or art or writing. And the first thing I can definitively announce is the title of the second installment of the trilogy: Kindling. That's not all; there will be a lot more story, characters, and changes to this new installment:

• This second book will be introducing a slew of new characters, whom will serve as both obstacles and assets to Blake's journey
• Amelia and Cameron both took something of a backseat in the second half of the first installment, but in this second one not only will they return they will have more prominent roles
• Blake and June and Alisha will still retain important roles as they did in the first installment, but there's a clear distance between them that will be hard to bridge
• New foes enter the field that cause Blake to question everything about himself, his family, and his world; these foes will include characters that will challenge him externally as well as internally
• Many of the proposed titles for some of the chapter include Aggressive, Careless, Ugly, Intense, Messy, Secretive, Aloof, and Lonely

I hope to draft the first chapter before long; if you guys would like to read through Awakening at all it is available on Wattpad here! I would eventually like to share early versions/snippets/details of chapters and plans here on Patreon, and any support with this project is very welcome! I want to get back into writing again; I have so many stories to tell.
