Added 2023-09-06 04:17:15 +0000 UTCI’d just like to start by saying I hope you’re all doing well my lovelies 🙈 So this week the audio I’m planning will be released around Thursdayish on here and Saturdayish over on the Tube! I had an horrendous accident today and it completely ruined my recording time, basically…MY POP FILTER BROKE! 😭😂 I brought this really expensive pop filter a year or two ago and for those of you who don’t know it stops those nasty “P” sounds from hitting the mic, they’re pretty indispensable for voice actors (especially me because I have a very plosiveyy voice) so I spent a ton on this thing thinking it would last forever and IT SNAPPED AS I WAS MOVING IT! I tried fixing it with my welder and well I didn’t expect the metal to be so pliant and easily warped! (Must have been a cheap alloy of some sort like iron,zinc and cardboard?) anyway long story short it kind of set on fire heh 😅🤷🏼♀️ So after that disaster I went looking for ways I could do my recording without one, I used a sock and the audio came out too dark and then I used some pencils which worked but it was a pain to get them where I needed them and finally I tried to make one using a coat hanger, a pair of tights I stole of one of my female friends (they weren’t mine my femboy arc isn’t until 2026) and a some duck tape AND to be honest it worked…but it just wasn’t the same…so I pulled out the white flag and ordered a new one and it’s going to be here tomorrow so that means there’s gonna be a slight delay this week! I’m sorry guys! Don’t worry though I’m back on track now! 😤💪🏻

Sweet maple coated Christ! Hydro, never lead an announcement with “I had a horrendous accident.” 😱 I thought you were going to have broken bones! If I get put on blood pressure medication, it’s going to be your fault 😮💨But don’t worry about the mic, life happens and we’ve all been there with tech/equipment issues. Just relax! Your content is always worth the wait!
