It's a new year, and Blizzard Watch is under new ownership

Hello supporters!

As of the new year, Blizzard Watch is owned by long-time writers, editors, managers, and cat herders Dan O'Halloran and Elizabeth Harper. Both of us have been working on the site since the beginning, after spending many years at WoW Insider before it.

We're also working on making more content in 2025:

• Our first big project is one we've been working on for a while: a redesign of the Blizzard Watch site which should make it easier to find the content you're most interested in and easier for Patreon supporters to log on seamlessly. It's still a work in progress, but we hope to have it ready to go early this year.

• We'll also be producing more podcasts in 2025, expanding our tabletop gaming podcast Tavern Watch into a weekly (or nearly weekly) show. And if you aren't interested in that genre, the Blizzard Watch Podcast and Lore Watch Podcast are both continuing as usual.

• On the website, you'll find the same coverage of World of Warcraft, Diablo, and other Blizzard games — probably with a bit more coverage of other video games and tabletop gaming, which is something we were already working on. But all of your favorite games will still be there.

In short, we're working to keep doing everything you enjoy and adding more on top. If there's anything you'd like us to cover on the site or the podcasts, please comment on this post or send us a message. (And if there's anything you particularly like and want to see more of, tell us that too!)

This year is the site's 10th anniversary, and I'm looking forward to a great 2025.
