How do you create the "art" part of the paleontological art... i.e., mood, excitement, etc.? When I was a kid, one of my favorite things to do was to go to the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History and hang out in the ancient seas exhibit just staring at Eleanor Kish's "Life in the Ancient Seas" mural which was displayed complete with underwater lighting and sounds. Even now, photography and video don't quite evoke the same excitement. It seems like museums don't reach out to artists to evoke a sense of the unknown as much anymore with the availability of digital media, and was wondering if you could comment on whether that was the case or not. https://extinctmonsters.net/2016/08/04/painting-the-ancient-seas/

I can think of many challenges they would have to face beyond picking the right color for the creature they are drawing. Also, the question we are all thinking, what is their favorite prehistoric animal to draw! 🦖🦕 Also I love Andrea's question! I would love to know how someone gets involved in palo art!
