What a Sauropod Eats in a Day
Added 2021-01-27 20:53:10 +0000 UTCIn our most recent Eonite podcast, Kallie mentioned an exhibit where she stood in front of a plexi-box that was filled with the amount of vegetation a sauropod would have to eat in a day. Here's the photo, which was taken in 2017 at the Museum at Prairiefire, KS. This cube holds the amount of plant matter experts think Mamenchisaurus would have eaten every day. It weighs a little over 1,000 pounds.
