Patreon Update

Hello Patrons! 

Remember that on July 1st some of you will be charged sales tax on a percentage of your pledge. Refer to this document we made if you have any questions. 

Today is Eon’s third birthday! We are so grateful for all your support over the past few years and hope that you have enjoyed being a Patron. To celebrate we are making a couple of updates to our tiers to continue growing our Patreon community! 

In order to allow more Patrons to be a part of our quarterly livestreams, we have decided to move the livestream benefit from the $15 tier to the $5 tier. It will be replacing the annual digital flair bundle benefit. 

The $10 name in the description tier will be increased to $20. If you are an existing member of the $10 tier, you will continue seeing your name in the description without any changes to your pledge amount as long as you remain a patron in that tier. The $10 tier is now unpublished, meaning it will still exist for those in it, but will not be accessible to any new Patrons.

Additionally, we are adding a new $10 tier with brand new benefits! If you join this tier, you will be given the opportunity to submit a paleo-themed joke that has a chance to be read by our hosts in an episode. AND, patrons of this tier and all above tiers will receive a monthly movie commentary recording. Members of the Eons team will be watching various dinosaur/monster movies once a month and Patrons will have a chance to hear them comment on all the biological and historical inaccuracies. 

Those of you in the $15 dollar livestream tier (that is now unpublished) will continue to have access to the livestream and will be automatically included in all the benefits for the $10 tier. 

We have unpublished tiers in the past, so you may find that you already are in an unpublished tier. Do not worry, we make sure that you are still receiving the benefits you signed up for when you became a patron!

The $2 tier, and $35 and over tiers, will stay the same. Thank you for your patience and don’t hesitate to comment below if you have any questions!
