I was asked to share the armor and clothing replacers I use, but I realized there's a bit more to it than just sharing a few links - so here's a post!
Before you continue, please note that I play on LE and use UUNP so my links will be based on that. If you want SE/CBBE or some other versions, google is your friend.
Below are the replacers I use, in the same order I have them installed:
UNP Female Armors - there are UNPB meshes in the optional files, I use a few of those to get some body shape variation in my game.
UUNP Vanilla Outfits Bodyslides - this adds bodyslides to the vanilla outfits, again I only use a few to add some more body shapes.
TMB Vanilla Armors & Clothes - this is a great mod that comes with a fomod installer with multiple options for each outfit, both skimpy and more lorefriendly alternatives. Again, I have only picked out the ones I like the most and deleted the rest.
Warmth - Light Armor Replacer - this mod adds sleeves and pants to a few of the light armors.
Regal Medieval Gowns - in the optional files is a wedding dress replacer, which is what I use.
Guards Armor Replacer - replacer for the guard armors only.
Kynreeve Armor - I use the optional file to replace the male daedric armor with this.
Girl's Heavy Armors - I don't like these. I only use the female dwarven armor replacer and have deleted the rest in xEdit.
Truly Light Glass Armor (female) - I use the version without pauldrons.
Truly Light Elven Armor (female) - greatly improves the elven armors.
Truly Light Elven Armor (male) - the male version of the mod above.
Circlet Replacers for Women - replaces the female circlets with something less bulky.
Retextures! These are obviously not armor replacers, but textures play a vital part in how the armors look. Below are some that I use.
Amidianborn Book of Silence - can't make a list like this without this mod.
Rustic Clothing - the best retexture for vanilla clothes.
Rustic Armors & Weapons - high quality stuff as usual.
Lind's Robes Revamp - I linked to the author's profile instead of each individual robe retexture.
Frankly HD series - linked to their profile as there are too many mods to mention, but I use pretty much all of their armor retextures.
Stormcloak Armor Revival - I use the optional tartan texture.
The next few pieces are regular armor mods that I have turned into vanilla armor replacers.
Demon Hunter Armor - this is my ebony armor replacer. Helm still vanilla.
Crimson Twilight Armor - I use this as a female daedric armor replacer. Helm still vanilla.
More Triss Armor Recolors - this replaces the female leather armor. Helm still vanilla.
Snow White Armor - I use this to replace the female studded armor. Chest only.
IMPORTANT: These four mods are not armor replacers by default, so if you want to use them as replacers just follow these steps.
1. Download and install the four mods above. The esp files do not need to be active, so feel free to delete or disable them.
2. Download and install my armor replacer linked below.
3. Endorse the mods.
4. If you only want a few of them, open my armor replacer folders and delete the ones you do not want.
To avoid using an additional esp slot, I have not used every single armor piece (helm, gloves, chest, boots) from each mod. This means that certain pieces will remain vanilla, which doesn't bother me. I also cannot guarantee that all pieces will look great together and without clipping, but it looks pretty good to me.
I think that's it - let me know if you have any questions!
