2019-08-14 22:34:59 +0000 UTCI was a GITWfer about 15 years ago when I started reading (2003 I believe). But I've grown to be CITW. In my own life, I thought I'd marry my high school girlfriend. She dumped me when I want to college. After she dumped me, she invited me to her senior prom. I foolishly went, thinking it meant she wanted to rekindle things. I found out later she asked me because no guy had asked her. Ouch. I then met my current wife, but still have many great memories of my first love. So I relate to Paul. First love was wonderful but once that was over, it was over. He's now found the one he will marry. And I love this model. Perfect for Christy!

So I'm missing lots of hints and I'm happy to be missing them. It's sort of like being in THIS moment, because anything in the future will be a pleasant surprise.
