こんにちは。

Live2Dというプログラムでイラストにモーションを適用してみました。自分は始めたばかりの初心者ですが、実際にVtuberの制作にも使われている有用なソフトだそうです。

Live2Dには以前から興味がありましたが、これまで余裕がなく触れることができませんでした。今回の機会に基本的な機能を学んでいます。パーツごとに分割して一つずつモーションを適用する必要があるため、かなり時間がかかりますね😓。そのためゲームに応用するのは難しそうですが、今後はイラストで時々練習してみようと思います（ゲームでのモーションはLive2Dではなく、Ren'Pyの3D Rotation機能を使用しています）。最近では、この程度のモーションであればAIを使ってすぐに実装することも可能ですが、FanboxではAIコンテンツの投稿が禁止されていますし、私自身もツールを使って自分で制作してみる過程に面白さを感じているので、しばらくは練習を重ねてみようと思います。

今回は練習として既存の差分を使用しましたが、次回は別のイラストを使ったり、バストモーフィングにも挑戦してみようと思います😏。

I tried applying motion to an illustration using a program called Live2D.

I’m still a complete beginner, but it seems to be a useful software that is also used in actual Vtuber production. I’ve been interested in Live2D for a while, but I hadn’t had the chance to try it until now. This time, I’m learning the basic functions.

Since each part needs to be separated and have motion applied individually, it takes quite a lot of time. Because of that, it seems difficult to apply it directly to games, but I plan to practice with illustrations from time to time (The motions in the game are not made with Live2D, but with Ren’Py’s 3D Rotation feature). These days, motions of this level could be implemented quickly using AI, but since Fanbox prohibits posting AI-generated content, and because I personally find the process of creating things myself with these tools to be fun, I’ll continue practicing for now.

This time I used existing variations for practice, but next time I’d like to try using a different illustration or experimenting with bust morphing as well😏.
