Love your Parenting segment. For years, when I took my nephew to Disneyland where I worked, and we rode Buzz Light year.....I pulled the guns away and we just rode the ride!

2018-09-07 02:53:34 +0000 UTCTotally agree with you both about guns and kids. Like the one kid you mentioned, my parents were staunchly anti-gun. They took guns out of Lego sets or other toys they bought me, didn’t let me watch violent films, or play violent video games until my teens, and despite their best efforts, I still ran around with sticks or anything else vaguely gun shaped and played war. To this day I’m still fascinated by guns. So that shit doesn’t work. Parents, just teach your kids to respect guns like any other dangerous tool, and to respect other people.
