So Takahashi Meijin became successful in Hudson Soft and sold Lode Runner game for them very well. They were happy!! And this went on for some time with Takahashi-san become more popular with people reading his Famicom guide information in the each week manga CoroCoro Comic. This book was how Takahashi and Hudson Soft got more attention for they're Famicom games in 1980's..

This book was by Shogakukan company and because Takahashi-san's part is become very popular they gave the new Famicom game Championship Lode Runner (1983) more time to do tournament play at a festival. This was how Takahashi Meijin become known for tournament skill play at many festivals while working for Hudson Soft.

In 1985 Takahashi Meijin begins working on a TV show with the Ohayō Studio team.. And every week there were Famicom games show there and soon they start Caravan Tournaments. What is this?? Well in many shooting games there is ' Caravan Mode ' which is all about the scoring. You have 2 or 3 minutes play time on one special stage and score the high you can.. These were put on the TV for guest to play and the challenge was very popular!!

It was in this time he was become know by all kids as Game King because of his 16 shot a second skill! This was about how fast he could tap the fire button to shoot because he had made a special techniques for this! ! He would even made special Hudson Soft toy which record how many times you can hit the fire button in a 1 minute!
