Every Aussie kid knew the alternate chorus to Waltzing Matilda - “Waltzing Matilda , who bloody killed her, lying in the grass with a dagger up her ass….”. The song itself is about a man who stole sheep. It tells how, when approached by troopers, he jumped into a billabong & drowned to evade capture.
