thank you so much Beccy. its so nice to get messages like this. to let you know, the 24 hours was the hardest i've done (proably because of the heatwave) and i was only aiming for £750 but with the kindness of the garmy and people in my twitch community, we managed to raise £1,310 which is incredible. i sincerely appreciate yours and the garmy's support

2022-08-15 09:32:19 +0000 UTCHey Wayne! I’m not sure if you’ll see this now because I’m a bit behind. Just wanted to say until recently I worked in the nhs looking after people with cancer. I’d been doing the job a while when Macmillan came in and “adopted” me. It was amazing from the outset the difference it made. There was so much more I could offer patients, so many more ways to help them, training to do my job to the best of my ability and support for me when things were hard. It’s only because of people like you doing what you’re doing that they’re able to do that. So I hope all goes well and when it gets tough just remember that the money you raise will absolutely change peoples lives for the better. Cheering you on!!
