I agree with the “you’ve seen the Niners in the Super Bowl” logic Eddie, but keep in mind you don’t know how old the caller is, and they haven’t won since 1994, nearly 30 years now. We all love giving the Cowboys grief for this, but keep in mind that the Cowboys, still one of the top leaders in SB wins and appearances, haven’t won, or even been in the Super Bowl since that next year’s, 1995. The sentiment is fine when weighing sports vs family commitments, but don’t forget that you never do know when you’re team will be back in that position again.
