I don't know about the rest of the country, but being from the southwest area, (which was originally Mexico), it differentiates the word 'tuna' in Spanish (a cactus fruit) from the fish.

I have to ask... why in America is the term "Tuna fish" a thing? Like you don't say, lamb sheep, or beef cow, Chicken bird. It always strikes me as odd, when Eddie says Tuna fish 😄
