Delos Updates and Crew Contest!

Ahoy Patrons! Hope you’re having a beautiful Monday :)   

It’s crazy to think we’ve been in the Caribbean for over a year now.  What’s even more amazing is during the past year we’ve had the pleasure of sailing with 13 Patreon crew contest winners!! It felt like each one of these people was a close friend and it’s always such an honor to get to know all of YOU in person!

As you saw in the video above, Brian and Kazza are headed to Sweden to have the baby and Brady and Blue have decided to sail Delos across the Atlantic! Which means we have an incredible opportunity to invite another person aboard Delos on our upcoming Atlantic Ocean crossing! We thought long and hard about this and have decided to give the opportunity to someone who otherwise would not be able to do something like this. We’ll be inviting a young, aspiring sailor on the passage! We understand how much an ocean crossing can change your life and are so excited to give someone this opportunity! The best part? We're going to cover ALL EXPENSES for the winner!

We will be running this competition on our Instagram ( instagram.com/svdelos ) and Facebook ( Facebook.com/svdelos ) but wanted to give our patrons a heads up first! So if you meet the requirements below, comment and tell us about yourself and why you think you'd be the perfect fit for this opportunity. Also, head over to instagram and comment on  the post which will be released in the next few days. It’s fun to have everyone engage, like and comment in one spot!

Requirements to enter:

1. Must be between the ages of 16-22. Remember, we will be seeing your passport ;)  

2. If under 18, must have signed consent from parent or guardian.

3. Must have a valid passport with expiration date beyond February 2020  

4. Must be available from June 5th 2019 to July 15th 2019

5. Must have some kind of sailing background. Could be lake sailing, dinghy sailing, anything that shows you are already actively pursuing this passion!

6. Must be ok with living in close quarters with smelly sailors.
