Added 2023-11-03 13:00:07 +0000 UTCAhoy friends! So I know we say this about every single place we've been lately....but....Dayummmm Mo'orea is sooo freaking crazy! It's definitely been one of our favorite destinations (and we've been to some prettttty cool places I gotta say). It's got the perfect mix of beauty, protected and calm anchorages, wild and rugged but still has easy access to shops and a few creature comforts...and as you will see in this week's episode, there is a whole world below our keel which is full of surprises!
Also, in this week's episode Sierra goes to summer camp! We didn't film any of the camp itself, but ohhh man she absolutely LOVED IT! And for us it was a rare treat to have some adult time (which we spend diving and adventurizing of coure) and enjoy some of the stuff that's a little more difficult to do with a 4 year old in the mix. She very rarely spends time away from us (unless Mormor is here of course 💕) so we were so proud of how good she did getting out in the big world without us and making new friends!

When you first see them it's actually a little bit scary because they are SO insanely huge...but after moments of seeing their demeanor and how they move through the water all the fear is gone and you're left with just awe

As a Grandfather of a dozen grandkids, you are doing a fine job raising the Nugget. 2) In 900+ dives, we’ve swam with Humpback whales only once.. off Molokini, Maui. I still get goosebumps remembering that dive. 3) Squadrons of Rays. I never get tired of watching rays. Jeanette and I spent one 70 min. dive watching eagle rays feeding all around us on a shore dive off of Kihei. We’ve booked a two week live aboard dive trip for spring 2025 in Tahiti, Mo’orea/Bora Bora, and Touamotu’s. Your videos were the final nail we needed to book.
