2023-11-11 02:11:42 +0000 UTCHey Brian, what year was that XR600? My first bike was a 1980 Yamaha 650 Special. I bought it in 1986 (when I turned 30). It was Yamaha's effort to copy some Triumph model. My second bike was a brand new 1990 Yamaha Radian 600. It's was kind of classically styled but also new style street bike. I got it up to 120 early on some Sunday on Route 80 in eastern New Jersey. That was the closest I have yet come to piloting a jet fighter! LOL I have to add here that we are now more like twins than before. At a young age you worked for the phone company and climbed poles, and I did the same, but for cable TV. My first serious girl friend was a nanny who came over from Sweden. Your first sailboat was very similar to the sailboat I currently own. Besides all that, you've had a private pilot rating and I am currently a semi active hang glider pilot (since 1975). NOW it has come to light that you also like BIKES! Holly Molly! Hahaha We may have to look into whether my father may have met your mother at some point, or my mother may have met your father at some point! LOL : - D

Plus, I am fixing up two 1981 Honda CM400 motorcycles. I picked up one for free and the other, via an auction for $150. I've gotten the $150 bike running pretty good. I hope to get the free one started later today. : - )

2023-11-10 14:51:42 +0000 UTCBoat is out for maintenance. Finishing up the skeg and rudder fiberglass work then lightly sand bottom and 2 coats of paint. Did a complete bottom job 2 years ago so the bottom paint is in great shape.
