Join us in the Gulf of Nicoya as we finally find the calm protected, tranquil slice of paradise we thought we were looking for...And instead of enjoying the peace and quiet we decide to just go completely crazy π€ͺ Mud fights on the beach, homemade margaritas from wild mangos we picked that will singe the hair off your eyebrows, and Sierra's first trip to prison! Throw in some rowdy howler monkeys and a sassy beach fashion show from Kazza...and what more can you hope for on a Friday???
This will be our final post from Puerto Vallarta, for real this time!!! We were actually ready to head out earlier this week but since yesterday was Sierra's birthday (can't believe the little nugget is THREE whole years old!!!) we thought it would be fun to celebrate with all our friends there (Calico, One Life, and lots of new faces we met in the marina, plus lots of little kiddos that Sierra has been hanging with the last weeks!). We are chomping at the bit to get out of the marina. It's nice to take a little break and enjoy some of the creature comforts like unlimited AC on the boat, super fast wifi, alligator waterslide, and walking distance to amazing tacos...but we start to really miss what cruising is all about for us---Exploration, self sufficiency, adventure, solitude...and we've gotten inundated with tips and recommendations from the Tribe and the Sea of Cortez looks AMAZING so we really have so much to look forward to!

It was the only time I've ever finished a game of Monopoly. Ode to a pelican. A wonderful bird is the pelican. His bill can hold more than his belican. He can hold in his beak Enough food for a week, But Iβm damned if I see how the helican.
