We wanted to film another little update for you this week, but things have been pretty crazy for us lately. Kazza has been extremely sick for the last week, bedridden with crazy fever and really strange and worrying symptoms. Thanks to the help of so many people, we managed to make the two day sail and get her the medical help she needs, and she is starting to do much better. It turned out to be Salmonella, pretty scary stuff- we made a post on instagram about it too if you'd like to know a little more about everything that happened. Grace from Calico was so sweet and kind enough to help us with the sail over. A 2 day solo sail would be no problem for me, but with Nuggs in the mix, trying to manage the boat and a 3 year old is just too much. So send Kazza lots of love in the comments, she needs all the help she can get right now.
But on a happier note, we thought it would be fun to share a few snaps with you

What was your favorite moment from our time in Costa Rica, and which spot do you most want to visit after seeing these episodes? I think for us our favorite was swimming at night in the Bioluminescence, that was such a crazy experience we will never forget, and Sierra's joy and laughter seeing it just melted our hearts completely 🥰 Hope everyone is having a great week wherever you are in the world.

I've personally witnessed bio-luminescence forming in the wake of a friend's sailboat, long ago, while sailing at night on Raritan Bay just south of Staten Island. But since we were moving, I didn't jump in the water to see what would happen then. I'd say it's the ocean's version of fire flies! : - )
