When we first started posting videos over a decade ago, I could have LITERALLY never imagined not only that I would end up circumnavigating the entire planet, but that millions of people around the world would have followed along on our voyage. It’s incredibly surreal, and even looking back on the episode now, I’m still at a loss for words to describe how it feels.
But one emotion I can most definitely pinpoint and express is gratitude- to you, our amazing Tribe who has supported us at every step of the way, to Karin for loving me unconditionally and sharing this wild adventure with me, to Delos for keeping me safe and taking me to the most insanely beautiful and far-flung corners of the globe, and to the 69 crew and the thousands of friends we’ve made along the way that have made this voyage what it is.
We are incredibly proud to share this episode with you, it’s been one of our biggest creative undertakings yet, and an incredibly personal one too.

I've had a lot of personal friends that sought extraordinary adventure lifestyles. So much could be written on the topic of deciding to start alone, and I think this video covers that well. The trip usually overshadows the start, but the start is actually the biggest part of it all.

You go so far out of the way for your Patrons..., its no wonder you have such a huge following. And special attention should be paid - as Wendy Pyle suggested - in the annals of time all of your efforts to give back to this shiny blue globe, your ecology & environmentalism, and your philanthropy. You bring me such joy each video you shoot, sharing your sailing adventures, both the good and the bad. I fell in love with sailing when I took a red cross sailing course when I was 18. I have loved it ever since. Time and age have not been a good thing for my body. So sailing would not be possible right now. However I can experience everything wonderful through your videos. Getting to see all the fantastic ports of call. Brian, I'm so proud you left all the "Comforts of you average life" and really were brave to do your own thing. Such a thing too.
