It wouldn't be Friday without another crisis on board to share with you 😂 After Kazza made a full recovery from her scary run in with Salmonella poisoning, it finally felt like everything was right again in our floating world. So we let our hair down, whipped up some margaritas, and threw a raft up party to celebrate my amazing Swedish Princess' birthday. But the next day, mother nature had a different present for us in mind, and things went sideways REAL fast.
This episode pretty much sums up cruising life: A constant dance alternating between the highest highs and the lowest lows. But we wouldn't have it any other way! Living life constantly on our toes is challenging for sure, especially with a toddler in the mix, but it's also incredibly rewarding. When we look back on all our incredible memories of this voyage around the world, it wouldn't be the same if it had been easy. So we try and remind ourselves of this when the going gets tough (and guess what, it only gets tougher in the next two episodes).
Anyway, we hope you enjoy this one and get in a few giggles too :)

To watch you get through such difficult conditions was amazing. I also loved your earlier videos exploring all those remote areas in and around the Pacific with your motley crew LOL. You’ve just had such an evolution as sailors and videographers. Plus we watched yo u “grow up” and yet still find the adventure and excitement while being responsible parents. Kudos to the entire Delos tribe!!!

The ones that made my eyes go all leaky, of which there are more than a few are my favorites. Sierras arrival ranks at the top.

Had to steer back to port with the engines (yay for catamarans, they can drive like a tank, bless two engines with 2 props.) It was a real scary moment when the wheel spun and the boat didn't while a cruise ship was leaving the bay and guess where we were headed!!! The bright side is ... wasn't my boat (is that insensitive?) And no, did not hit the cruiseship. (phew)

Like on the previous video with Kazza being sick, the way the world makes connections everywhere to bring to you whatever aid you need. It's just a testament to how important you (plural) are to us all. My favorite series is the Girl Crew. It was just extra heart warming to see how closely that crew bonded. Me, I'm still working on getting the crud n stuff off my sailboat so I can get it out and sail again. 27 ft is pretty cozy even for one person if still doing tweaking on wiring and woodwork here and there. Have you ever run into a video "Race to Alaska"? It's about a race from Port Townsend to Ketchikan in/on anything that will float. It's pretty amazing. Peace and joy be with you all.
