Patrons Meet N' Greet (Sat, Feb 4th) Rocky Point, Mexico
Added 2023-01-24 16:57:15 +0000 UTCHey all you lovely Patrons! We have some exciting news! As you might know we're down here in Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point), Sonora, Mexico about a 4 hour drive from Phoenix. Many boat projects are underway and we hope to be splashing Delos in about 2 weeks.
Before we put Delos back in the water and set sail for the South Pacific we'd absolutely love to get together, have a few margaritas, and share a few laughs.
Would anyone be keen to do a meet up with us in Puerto Penasco?
When: Saturday, February 4th from 4pm-7pm
Where: Skullyz Cantina, Paseo Las Glorios Final 13 83550 Puerto Peñasco, Sonora, Mexico
How do I get there? It's a bit of an adventure but well worth it! There's no airport here so people usually fly into Phoenix and take the very chill and scenic 4-5 hour route across the border to Rocky Point.

2023-01-28 19:40:43 +0000 UTCHey! Yeah there is definitely a lot of information out on the web, if you have access to internet. It also so depends on where you are sailing. If you will be close to platt where they have stores that you can get spare parts then you need less “thinking what if” and carry less spare parts but if you want to sail remote where they are no stores or way to get stuff I’ll say it’s crucial to research and figure out what systems you have and to have spare parts on the boat for them. To be honest, Im half tempted..., had such a great time with you guys and the Tribe in Annapolis. Wish I had more time to consider and plan. If you do pull it off, hope you get some great videos. If its an option, how abut a Patron Event just before you head across the Pacific. Not sure when and where that will be.., but something to consider. Id be up for that !

We’re hoping to come down early Friday and leave possibly Monday. Depending on what you’re up to ideally you and Christin and the kids can hang out and if Brian would like help on Delos I’d love to help him with wherever he needs me. How much stuff are we bringing down ok to bring the Van or should I bring my truck which we can use to get parts if need be. We’re getting excited! Also if any tools are needed to help. See you soon! I see so many videos of you guys when things hit the fan and thankfully always have an extra part to fix the problem. But just wondering from a newbie stand point is it easier now to fix problems on the boat because of the internet and wide spread video tutorials out their to fix problems you guys might have.
