Added 2023-02-24 14:00:06 +0000 UTCHey Hey Fam! We're super excited to share this episode with you from one of the most beautiful and wild destinations we've ever encountered. This little slice of paradise is called Refugio (which means refuge in English) and we can definitely see why. It felt like we were anchored in the middle of the most scenic and picturesque swimming pool in the universe. With rolling green hills, cactus dotted hillsides, and perfect white sand beaches, refugio was pretty easy on the eyes, but what blew us away the most was actually it's inhabitants- the California Sea Lion! Unlike our last encounter which was during the mating season, we were now in the prime season to enjoy a dip with these playful little fellas, and we busted out the dive gear and spent an unforgettable 40 minutes frolicking with these curious, social, intelligent, and beautiful creatures. We've definitely been blessed over the years with some incredible underwater encounters, but something about the level of connection and interest that the Sea Lions had in us made this so special.

Calico are going to wait another year to cross, and One Life might cross if they can get ready in time...they've discovered some issues when they hauled out that need to be fixed before they can go, so it's still up in the air if they will be ready. Hope the boat work is going well for ya!

They seam intelligent to interact with you .... or are they all just divas ....... looking for YouTube exposure. It is one of the great mysteries in life ...... like does the light in the Norge REALLY go off when we close the door? We don't know ... we EAT the only witnesses. Keep 'em flyin.
