It's finally time for our episode from the Annapolis Boat Show where about 300 of our Patrons were able to make it to our meet up. We had so much fun getting meet so many of you and share some cold ones together!
The boat show itself is pretty cool, but for us this time is all about connections. Meeting as many of the Delos Tribe as possible, sharing laughs, and of course a reunion of epic proportions with a few favorites that many of you will recognize! Brady and Blue, Mormor, Papa Delos and Donna, Jordan, Lizbef, Taylor and more will all be gracing your screens today!
The whole experience was pretty surreal for us. We still see ourselves as the salty sailors running around naked on a deserted island somewhere drinking home made moonshine, but in Annapolis in the heart of the saiing community at one of the largest boat shows in the world, we are (this feels SOOOO weird/cringey to say this) kinda famous. But the coolest and most unexpected thing that has come from all of this has been how much positivity has come from sharing our journey...we heard so many amazing stories from you guys about how watching the videos inspired you to change your life for the better, or helped you through some hard times, or how it was part of a ritual with someone special.
And we can't say it enough, but all of this is possible because of YOU! By supporting the Delos project you aren't just supporting us on our journey, but you're paying forward to all the people who are also getting something positive from the videos too. That's an incredibly beautiful thing and we're just blown away at what an awesome community the Delos Tribe is, and we are so truly grateful to all of you for being a part of it 💕

If so you could probably return from your second voyage, sell it, and get a brand new 2023 50' Oceanus or something and be moar sail less fail(ure). But please don't do that as the videos where you repair broken stuff are the best, seriously, for us pleebs who own 1968 Bristol 29s.

Thank you for sharing your happiness and success, you guys have inspired lots of people to live their sailing dreams. Watching you on you tube inspires me to see the natural beauty around me. Seeing how your journey began small and grew reminds me to always have hope and see my life a big adventure too. I’ve had a ridiculously hard undiagnosed health issue most of my life, this year being particularly hard and then I found Delos just when I needed laughs, beautiful waves, serene sunsets, mechanical triumphs and adventures. I’m on the mend, feeling pretty great most days and I realize I have all those joys on land 💗 and working towards sailing more is so much fun!

Mainly since much of it is the back left sides of your heads. LOL PS - That reminds me, I gave you a couple beer steins while there. Did they make it back to Delos? PPS - I'm also gonna mention Ramukanji, . . . It used to be your Theme Song, slowly getting shorter and shorter. Now it's your 16 second exit tune. I was always made happy when (as your theme) it got to the "my old man said there's nothing impossible . . ." SV Delos has always seemed to be about what IS possible. That's why, as a long time Tribe member and patron I'd like to have Ramukanji back at the beginning and as long or longer than "there's nothing impossible" line. Is that possible? I hope it is. : - )

Like many, I was again at the Patron Events, said hi to the Delos crew, sat next to Mormor at the Sunday night seminar (what a blast that was) , even ran into Papa Delos and shared a beer at the Boatyard Grill the day he arrived in town. I have not missed a single boat show since 1978 ...not one. Yes Im an old sailor. I really loved the Delos event again, even better than the previous show. I do have one important question. Before crossing the Pacific, is the Delos crew thinking of maybe a cast away Patron event. It might be the last in North America for quite while. I'll book a flight the minute you guys agree.
