We wanted to give you a little update on how things have been going back in the shop and show you all the amazing progress (my favorite is the engine room doors they look soooo freaking sexy!). I know we keep saying this pretty much every time we make a post, but we are just so freaking stoked and blown away at how this whole process is coming along...every day when we walk into the shop and see our dream boat one step closer to being out in the water, it's such an indescribable feeling! We hope you enjoy this lil update, and we'll see ya on Friday with a bit of a mega-sode as we wrap up our time in Sweden, hit the boat show, and then arrive back to Australia and lay eyes on our beautiful boat for the first time after months away!

I’m surprised the fuel tanks are only pressure tested to only 3 psi.😁

2024-11-19 05:51:37 +0000 UTCYou probably have them on the plan, but you will want some type of partial cover over those scuppers. When you get hull slap, particularly on a close reach in heavier seas, you will get waves that hit and will send water erupting up the scupper. Blocking the front and sides of the drain from below will help divert most of the water around, while allowing the drain to flow free for water that comes over the deck. Like a clamshell cover open to the rear. If that doesn't make sense, walk straight across the lot to ALWAYS and take a peak. My scuppers are much smaller, but you'll get the picture.
