Week 32 - Podcasts and Timelapses

Hope y'all like blue* text because we got links for days in this update.

Last Friday saw the Complete Platformer Tutorial part 23 go public and part 24 go up for $5 Wizards. I don't want to jinx it but we're pretty on schedule tutorial wise! This week's part 25 will be looking at putting an ending (or two) into the game.

Also this weekend I quickly put together a development timelapse for FIREBALL. The full vods for that livestream are also available on YouTube:

So yeah it's been a busy week or two for my uploads category. Also on Sunday I went on a new podcast for the GameMaker community called obj_podcast! We chatted for a bit about work ethic, motivation & discipline, burn out, GameMaker tutorials, streaming and other good stuff.

This podcast is being run by some dudes from the r/GameMaker discord which is one of my favorite community hubs. They do so much cool stuff from the GM48 jam, to a GM community github.

One of the main reasons I don't run my own discord server is there is nothing it could offer that these guys don't offer in droves. Go check that place out.
