Moving arooound
The RPG stuff is off to a solid start. Things are progressing slowly but I've been taking my time to write & rewrite code that's Good™.

We're going to leaning pretty heavily on tile based collisions for this series. If I can I want to show how much you can get away with just using a collision tile map. I'm trying some other options with respect to basic movement such as improving diagonal movement using vectors (so that moving up and left isn't twice as fast as up or left) and trying to make something really solid.
I realized that with so much to do already, I may as well go all out and make this as good as possible.
Patreon Goals
Based on the comments & votes on the poll I ran last week I've decided to implement the new Patreon goals as I suggested them.
Below are the new goals:
$1000 (already reached) - Sustaining the work, full time.
$1500 - Transcription & subtitles! Hiring in people to help with subtitles and translations to bring my videos to more people and places.
$2000 - Art budget! hiring artists to produce animations and tilesets for new videos. Leaving me to focus on scripting, recording and editing.
$2500 - All work becomes ad free!
I think these make way better goals that can add more value to the work I do than just trimming out the ads. I'm also planning on using this opportunity to do a video explaining my new goals to the YouTube audience (as any excuse to remind them of my Patreon has proven smart to take advantage of!). So probably expect something like that on Friday, along with our regular stream =)
