Heyo all!
A lot finished today!
If everything goes well I should be able to upload the new content tomorrow evening.
Here’s what was added:
1. Achievement System (around 300 achievements!)
You can view the full list in the new Achievement Menu.
Clearing an achievement rewards you with Eros and some resources.
(Please don’t try to grind all of them yet, a lot of them are meant to clear over updates.)
2. Eros Upgrade
Eros now adds combat stats and is effective right from the start.
3. Turn Based Battle System
A full new combat system added to the game.
4. Skill System for All Main Characters
Everyone in the main cast now has proper skills.
5. Skills Added to the Talent Tree
6. Early Talent Tree Access
Once you unlock the Soulcorruption System, you can already start using the talent tree.
Before Chapter 6 it’s only accessible during certain story parts
7. Story Updates
Several story parts were rewritten to include battles.
You can’t lose these fights, but winning will give resources and unlock achievements (which will add Eros and Ressources).
(Some of them are still pretty tough.)
8. Blightwood & Lustdungeon Changes
Removed the old battle cards and replaced them with a scalable battle system. Enemies level up when defeated and level down when you lose. The higher the level, the higher the rewards.
9. Basic Lust Attacks in Battles
Uses the same images as the dungeon defense for now.
A random character and body part is selected (you can filter characters and body parts in the Lust Config Menu).
Lust damage scales with fetish value of the characters displayed body part + your Eros value.
The whole party takes a small portion of the Lust damage as well.
Someone mentioned in a 1-star review that there should be a daily quest system.
Funny enough, that was actually the plan until just a few moments ago. I was considering adding a quest system starting from chapter 4 and upwards. Things like:
taking a quest from the guild each day
or automatically getting tasks like “gain x amount of fetish values”, “complete an expedition”, and so on
But honestly, with everything that's already in the game, adding a quest system would feel overwhelming in my opinion. Why force players to do expeditions if they just want to visit NPCs or chill in the tavern?
And the achievement system already handles progression and goals in a much more flexible and fun way.
Sooo… the quest system idea is scratched. It would just get in the way rather than enhance the gameplay in my opinion.
