ANATOMY Post-Mortem

hello little birds!

because you've all been so incredibly kind and wonderful and long-suffering of my strangeness, I've decided to provide you with a little bit of inside access to ANATOMY's development.  The game would not exist without you, after all-- I started this game immediately after losing my job and going full-time, and it's your generosity and kindness that carried me through the entirety of its development.  i'll never be able to adequately express how much that means to me.

this archive contains image scans of all of my hand-written 'design documents' (read: incoherent scribblings and shopping lists) for the game, as well as a voice-recorded post-mortem and the script for a final tape that never made it into the finished game!

i suppose it goes without saying that you should NOT crack this open until you've experienced ANATOMY in its entirety.  the cut script drastically changes how the game might be read, and it was cut because i prefer how the game might be interpreted without its inclusion.  still, i hope it's interesting!  if nothing else it's a ~SECRET~

thank you again little birds, without you none of this would have been possible

mama crow loves you <3

I'm so flattered and honored to have helped bring you to that book, and thank you so much for all your kind words ♥

I know this is an old post, but after a few years of playing your itch.io games, I finally decided to hunker down and become a patron. I've been perusing the back catalogue of your work (it's wonderful and deeply inspiring and makes me feel human) and it was such a rare and wonderful treat to see your notes on such an iconic game, and to hear you talk about it in your own words (and you have a lovely speaking voice, if you don't mind me saying), and as soon as I was done listening, I went to my local library and checked out a copy of The Haunting of Hill House. It's as fantastic as you said it was, and I can't thank you enough for being the person who finally spurred me to read this wonderful book.
