Sneak Peeks, Plans and Updates for the Week of April 24

Hi, all! This past week has been bustling with activity for me. Thumbnails for Monster Girl Mayhem, character pin-ups, polls, early access audios, etc. Lots of irons in the fire! But I wanted to pop up, check in, let you know where everything is at right now.

First! This week's audio will be Protecting Your (Recovering?) Yandere Girlfriend!, the sequel to Adopting a (Recovering?) Yandere. The thumbnail, as voted for by patrons, is this:

I had planned for this to be part 2 of 2, and recorded the rest of the series to that end, but it's become apparent during the lengthy editing stage that the series will have to be broken up into three parts to maintain satisfying pacing. It's simply too long to do the next section in one go. Luckily there's a good stopping point in the middle of the final scripts! (A cliffhanger, but still!)

The revised plan is to post part 2 this week, and part 3 in June, sometime after Monster Girl Mayhem wraps. That said, Patrons will get access to the final part as soon as it's finished! I'm putting the final touches on part 2 tonight so it can hit early access tomorrow, and estimate it'll be around 45-50 minutes. Part 3, depending on sound design, will likely land somewhere between 30-45 minutes and should be ready to go within the couple of weeks.

Next on the agenda, checking up on Monster Girl Mayhem's progress! I spent part of last week contacting writers, finishing up some audience participation elements, and other things like that. We're getting down to the wire with just a week to go to get everything all squared away on my end. 

So! Three thumbnails to go, six (and about a quarter) audios to record, nine editing jobs to finish. Not great, but sadly unavoidable after the sore throat I had forced me to shift some stuff around. I really, really want to get everything done by May 1. I'm going to put my nose to the grindstone to try and manage it! But I'm also making a concentrated effort not to sweat it if my schedule ends up moved back a week.

If I DO get everything done by the first week of May, my next big goal is to finish writing some original scripts to record and release in June. Since all I'll have to do is run the event/answer comments in May, rather than having to worry about recording, I should have time to do that. I'm very much looking forward to having time to write! And whenever scripts are finished, I'll of course be releasing them on Patreon for you!

Next up: art commissions! I am still waiting on the Velvet character reference sheet from one artist. It's nearly a month late, so I'm going to have to poke them about it. I'm also planning to commission another spicy Velvet pin-up for Patrons only so please go vote in the poll to decide the pin-up theme! (I may also be commissioning a special audio character related piece, if I can swing it! But that's for later.)

AND FINALLY...some not-so-fun news from Patreon itself: in May they're discontinuing the Patron Goal feature. But! Even though official goals will no longer be a thing, that doesn't mean I'm not going to keep my goals intact. Soon I'll be making a special public post with some amended goals so we can still keep track of all the cool stuff I wanna do for/with you all!
