Somehow in some way, Logic's gonna see that the others were right, she may be able to do more work but what's the point if there's no drive behind it? Plus even if she's the brains, she still has feelings for her partner, regardless if she truly feels anything. But I can also see a scenario where she tries splitting her partner up as a social experiment or to see how the partner felt during that trial period. Seeing that might make her realize how wrong she was; although I do give her some slight pointers on needing consent. I want part 3 so badly to see where this goes!!!

2023-07-26 18:12:05 +0000 UTCVery interesting, it's hard to speculate on the motivation of a truly "cold and clinical" character. (But that couldn't stop me from trying.) If she's genuinely lost (or is losing) all emotion involved in everything (including her science) then why continue to put in the effort needed for her work? Humans may be machines of a kind but our brains are designed from the ground up to feel. The mind unstimulated (via chemical reward systems) can literally deteriorate to the point of damage and death. Basically, not being able to feel the joy or excitement (or the negative emotions either) she used to have for her craft can be directly fatal. So many crackpot theories running through my mind as to her reasoning, but it'd be fruitless to speculate further in a comment. Mad science is a real doozy. π« PS: I'd say this audio was fire but we all know Vel's literally incapable of dropping anything less than a termite reaction. (If you see this, great work as always!)
