April’s postcards are in the process of being packaged, and I expect them to go out near the end of this week! I will be collecting addresses tonight, so if you are a Crow Collector or Raven Dandy and have not yet been successfully charged by Patreon for April’s billing cycle, you must let me know via Patreon DM!
That said, I am hard at work on May’s postcard already! May is my birthday month, and I’m paying homage to one of my most beloved queer childhood heroes.
If any of you have not watched the most recent adaptation of Anne of Green Gables, “Anne with an E” on Netflix, I implore you to do so. The series revisits the original material in the Anne books and does an impeccable job of inviting you into Anne’s emotionally vibrant vision of the beautiful world she lives in — and also thoroughly revitalizes it by being more honest about Anne’s context than L. M. Montgomery was able to be. The series has every bit of the magic and childlike wonderment of Anne of Green Gables, but it is more curious, more exploratory, asks harder questions, and is stunningly more openly queer.
