1934 Mercedes W25 - Beta Release

Here it is! The 1934 Mercedes W25, getting its initial beta release. I hope you all enjoy, cause I really love driving this thing!

Some of my favorite tracks to drive it on:
1. 1938 Donington Park: https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/donington-park-grand-prix-circuit-1938.17313/
2. 1950s Bremgarten: https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/bremgarten-1950s.43576/

Questions:
1. Do you think the steering wheel is too small?
2. Do you think there is too much camber at the rear?
3. What do you think of the overall driving experience?

Beta 0.7 current issues:
1. 750k poly count, not suitable for large grids, online racing, or VR.
2. Windscreen is bugged.
3. LOD issue with suspension from external view at times.

Had a chance finally to try out this and also a quick shot in the Renault. I love them both, physics work gives back a really fun feedback experience, which gets me excited for the future as the plans for these and the choices of the other cars laid out are very exciting. Only thing I could find so far is the inside glass windscreen of the W25 has some glitches when using TAA so I had to hide the material with the testing option in CM customer showroom. But it's only a small nitpick as it's totally understandable being at beta stage. However I find the overall modeling and textures is really nice with good sounds included on both cars. Really impressive work and off to a great start thank you!

Yes! Historic drivers will be included, and eventually a custom championship too.

Great feedback! Will definitely work on getting as much of that patched ASAP. 👍

Couldnt Agree more with T- Strike. Steering Wheel Should be slightly bigger. Sound is Excellent ! Physics are Awesome too. It Slides but not as much as the Auto Union Type C .. so its really a difference driving this 34 car vs the 37 car. Will Historic drivers be included?

Took this car out for a spin for a good 30 minutes, I would argue that the sounds and drivability is already up to par with the real thing! I consider this a "learning car" for driving the 1937 Silver Arrows. To answer your questions: 1. The steering wheel should indeed be bigger, I'd argue closer to the size of the w125's wheel. 2. The car does seem slanted downward towards the rear a little much. May have to raise the rear a little so the car is more 'parallel' with the ground. 3. The overall experience was great! The car was easy to handle, arguably easier than Legion's Alfa Romeo P3, and was an absolute blast to drive. I did find a bug rather by accident, though. I overshot the banking in Legion's pre-war version of Monza and found out that if you land at an awkward angle especially on the wheels, the car becomes a spinning 200mph helicopter. The car is still indeed at its beta stage, however after a few tweaks here and there it should be ready to reach the finish line! EDIT: Apparently I just noticed another bug, the AI can't properly shift to 2nd for some reason. (i.e: They'll shift up, drive for half a second, then shift back to first, which then overrevs the engine and ultimately destroys it after a few times)

I tried to use the built in file system in Patreon. It clearly isn' t working right so I just uploaded a google drive link! Hope that works!
