The heat is finally receding in those parts of the world especially blighted with it this past summer… So that I can finally call the summer “past”. I was eager to dive full speed ahead into the autumn mood, so as soon as I started work on October’s postcard, I cooked up the kitchiest, halloweeniest Victorian romance that I could: A lady in love with a name on a gravestone. Perhaps it is woefully unrequited, or perhaps her shutters are rattled by a spectral visitor at night...
I’ll be posting the finished version of this piece next week! In addition to the vibrantly autumnal version you’ll see then, I’m very excited to also play with a few different colorways for it, so you’ll see this piece resurfacing a couple times throughout October with a new mood every time.
It’ll also be accompanied by a very fun and special bonus card: A beloved ghost of autumns past, returned to haunt the MBPS with some elaborate updates. Here’s a hint: 🕯🐐🗡🩸
September’s delivery went out on Thursday the 8th, last week! It’s already begun to arrive for many of you, and the rest can expect it soon!
