1958 Lotus 16 v0.98 Update! - Assetto Corsa

We are proud to present our first car featuring HERITAGE v1.90 advanced simulation & damage Lua code! HERITAGE ("Historic Effects for Realistic Interactive Technology And Game Enhancement") currently includes the following features:

1. Advanced engine damage code. This adds additional durability factors to the engine and the chance for random failures. Currently v1.90 will have the possibility of spark plug failures.

2. Brake failures. The ability to dictate how reliable brakes are, including the exact amount of brake pressure being applied for the failure rate factor to begin to run, the exact failure rate in any car (as a factor), and the amount of brake loss once failure occurs (from 0% to 100%). Generally, with v1.90 this will be quite forgiving, requiring at least 60% brake pressure for the factor to run and a maximum brake loss of 20%.

3. Tire pressure limits. Tires will explode if the defined tire pressure limit is exceeded.

4. Engine Stalls & Starter Feature. You'll need to start your car by pressing the "Extra A" function button. There also exists the possibility of stalling your car as well, and then you'll need to start it again before you can get back out racing. I am going to be realistically aggressive with the stall code with v1.90, as it is something that is entirely in the hands of the driver (and not random).

5. Advanced pit crew. To repair all of the various new things that can break on the cars now.

6. Basic Message System. To keep you informed on the current status of your car.

The v1.90 version of HERITAGE will enter testing later this week across a number of HSS vehicles. Currently working out some kinks with the Collision Damage system so that will be added later. I want to get something out for you all to try out, since I've been putting a lot of time into this lately.

Custom Shaders Patch Required! Please remember that HSS mods require the use of Custom Shaders Patch by Ilja with Assetto Corsa to enable the advanced features. DO NOT USE CSP v0.2.3 (preview versions especially).
