The reason why it just made it more sad was that her husband wanted to see her happy so bad that he would do anything for her even if it would destroy him. But, when you read the reference to it, you see that she was fully aware of what was going to happen to her husband and her desire for a child was so strong that she would've gone through with it no matter what. Being sorry for doing something bad after you've done it while going in fully knowing what would happen makes it worse. For a valentine's story it was less about mutual love and more about one sided love. I know this is the futadomworld universe and all but still.

To me it actually offset the sadness of Valentine. The spinoff was depressing as hell, but part of that was the idea of the wife being remorseless, like the villain from The Wicker Man or Get Out. Having her be shown as sorrowful about what she did makes the story feel a little less bleak in hindsight. Although it obviously doesn't change what reading Valentine is actually like, which is why I'll probably never go back to it. It does make me curious about what it would be like seeing the story from the wife's perspective though. She has a very different situation there compared to her husband, which might be interesting to see more of. If they ever decide to retell the story from another POV.

I had screwed up the build configurations, pure and simple. The builds have been fixed and updated.

No, you don't have to. You will however, need to download the right one for your device. If you are playing on an emulator, you will need the version marked Emulation. Otherwise you will need to find out what type of CPU your device has. If it is an arm64, then the 64-bit version should work fine. If it is an arme-abi7 then you will need the 32-bit version.

The Android builds have been updated and tested. Some people may still have difficulty installing the update, but there is a solution. You will have to uninstall your existing version first due to app signature conflicts. I know that it sucks and, and I apologize. I learned a few painful lessons with this release, and will not be making the same mistakes again.

That was awesome. The writing has done a really good job at keeping me guessing. I have no clue where this Mallory plot is headed, and that’s a good thing! Shows how good the writing is. I love the nod to the Valentines release too. Makes me want more of that too. Also the “Together” date was probably the best for this release... for obvious reasons. I have my hopes for themes and content to be touched upon (chastity, denial, sph, etc.) but no worries of you shelve these themes for another Futa or whatever. Mallory is her own theme at this point lol. 10/10 to the team!

I gotta say, this part really tickled my fancy! I especially loved Abbess Valerie and her bdsm scenes, so I hope we get one more sultry scene with her in the finale. (Maybe even throw Viola in there too?) Also, that "My Futa Valentine" cameo was a surprise to be sure, but a welcome. Also, while I'm digging the story so far, I do have a few nitpicks. 1.) Seeing Renee again was a real delight! But I am a little disappointed that there's only one animation of her in this update, but it was still hot none the less. 2.) Abbess Claire NOT accepting your "services" is a bit of a let down. 3.) The MC said he would talk to Angela about her beating herself, yet he never does? I assume you're just saving that scene for the finale, but still, the lead up made me and probably others assume it would happen right after the confessional. 4.) I don't know if I'm missing something, because if there are more scenes in the Martial Arts Rec Center and it's somehow not letting me see them, that might be a bug. However, if it's really just one scene in there for now or forever, that's a little saddening. But overall, this was a very good patch and I'm very excited for the Mallory Finale!
