Ms. Lindsay's reaction to Johnny Depp as Grindelwald...I share it. Every time I see him, I think the same thing: really really wish they kept Colin Farrell. Like Max, I also had the same problems with Eddie Redmayne as the main character as he did. And their potential straight-washing of Dumbledore, at least in this movie, is disappointing, but here's hoping they'll reverse that in the following movies. To Max's point, I know it's not in the books but since it's canon according to the author, it would be nice if it's included in the movies. I'm not going to boycott the movie because of it, but you know, good gay characters are hard to come by and it would be nice if they get some positive representation in such a popular series, especially if the author herself approves of it.
