Manly Movie Monday Post-COVID Poll
Added 2020-05-02 15:00:03 +0000 UTCSo as you may or may not know, Patrons have been enjoying Manly Movie Monday since 2018, so we have a backlog of MMM Shoots we'll be turning into YouTube content while we're under quarantine!
But what we are super excited about is getting back to shooting some more videos and we'd love to have our Patrons both new and veterans decide on what the first film we'll be covering once quarantine is lifted and we can get back to normal! I culled these from YT comments!
If you have any other suggestions, leave em in the comments below and we'll put em on the list!!!
xoxo,

2020-05-19 20:58:22 +0000 UTCDay of the dead 1985. The director George Romero considered this as his favorite "of the dead" movie that he made. Definitely one of the best zombie movies ever and I would recommend it to any of my friends, anytime in the week. Period.

2020-05-09 23:59:25 +0000 UTC(Yeah, I copied my comment from YouTube. lol) - Dredd (2012) - (The Raid meets Training Day, in the future, with Karl Urban and Lena Hedley,... and Domhnall Gleeson actually) - The Man Who Would Be King (1975) - (Manly British war buddies and IRL friends, Caine and Connery set out to rob an isolated Asian country blind.Christopher Plummer is in this.) - Upgrade (2018) - (Absolutely badass low-budget cyberpunk revenge movie starring Not-Tom-Hardy) - Army of Darkness (1992) - (Bruce Campbell at his best, absolutely chock-a-block with one-liners and cheesy action) - The Boondock Saints (1999) - (Worth it for Willem Defoe's performance alone, I know people are split on this one) - The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly (1966) - (I don't know if you guys have done this yet, but it's one of the most essential 'manly' movies I can think of) - "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" (2005) and "The Nice Guys" (2016) - (Shane Black always brings the manly shit-talk) - Turbo Kid (2015) - (equal parts heartfelt 80s throwback kid's movie and hyper-violent low-budget post-apocalyptic gore-fest. Utterly unique. Might not fit the 'Manly' format) - Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969) - (The greatest buddy western of all-time, everything still works like gangbusters and it feels like a modern film) - "Rumble in the Bronx"(1995) and "The Legend of Drunken Master"(1994) - (Apex Jackie Chan before he started to get too old, his stunts and action toned down and Hollywoodized) - Big Trouble in Little China (1986) - (You guys talked about peak "Kurt Russell" in your "The Thing" viewing, this is right up there.)

2020-05-05 05:39:19 +0000 UTCThe Raid 2 might run a bit long, but it's definitely my favorite of the bunch. In the future, you should consider "Full Contact" [1992] starring Chow Yun-Fat. It has some interesting takes on masculinity, and has one of the best pump-you-up endings that I've seen!

2020-05-02 23:09:50 +0000 UTCBullitt - it's so damned manly it has to haul its manly parts around in a wheelbarrow. Plus, McQueen. Need I say more? (Also, yeah, They Live. Because of the age in which we're reluctantly living.
